A couple of cards made recently.  Have been missing mojo lately seems to always be other stuff that needs doing... I need to win the lottery so I can give up work, and play crafty all day!!

Made for my Mum to give to my Nephew.... He's really difficult to do anything for 'cos he doesn't seem to have any interests apart from making my Sister's life as difficult as possible.... He's 16 and a pain in the you-know-where!!

This one took ages to cut out but was worth it - Mum loved it, she adores spring flowers. She's not been well recently, was rushed into Hospital last week with a heart scare, that was when we found out the communication thingy in her Bungalow wasn't working.... !! Great isn't it..  Anyway she's OK and we're keeping a very close eye on her !!

More Stash Clear Out... Have a Rummage!!!

Well have been having another search through the Craft Cupboard for things that I bought but have either never used or just played with once or twice.  This is what I've come up with, so if any of it is of interest please let me know.   I will charge postage at cost, so will advise postage costs on enquiry.

These are Sakura Permapaque Opaque Permanent Markers. There are two sets here, 7 pens in each but am combining as one item.  So you'll get 7 Metallic finish and 7 regular.  All are Fine Point.

OK here we go with Pro Markers.  I started collecting these but cannot get to grips with the technique, I'm absolutely rubbish, so am selling. These are being sold individually, at £1.25 each.  The colours I have are:

 I have no idea where I got these, or why I thought they'd be useful. I think I tried one for spirelli, got myself in a knot and gave up and they've been sitting in the drawer ever since.

Theyre spools of Embroidery thread, metallic colours and really pretty, I'm sure if someone has an embroidery machine they may be useful. The thread is the thickness of cotton.

It's My Dad's Birthday!!!

Today is my Dad's Birthday.  He's absolutely the best Dad ever, and I love him to bits.  His philosophy on kids is this....  You bring children into this world, you bring them up as best you can, and then you let them go.  If they come back, you've done a good job!.  Here's a piccy of my Birthday card made for him...

Simple cream card, beige pearlescent paper edge punched, another cream strip layered, Dufex decoupaged wine image, sentiment stamped and layered and peel off DAD added.  A few gems, and done!!


I didn't see him on my Birthday, he gave me my Birthday pressie today.  A bit of background before I tell you what he gave me...  As some of you may have read we lost our beloved Jeeves to cancer just about a year ago. he was 16 years old, and I'd had him from about 6 months.  He came from my Dad, who at the time had to downsize his cat family as the Resident Ass'n where he was living decided that he had too many. Jeeves came to live with me, and later with Markie and me, and had a wonderful life and gave us both a lot of joy.  So imagine my surprise and delight when Dad presented me with a composition frame of 5 photographs of Jeeves as an itsy Kitten, with his siblings and Mum, and getting into mischief.  As we didn't have any photos of him as a baby, it's the most fantastic present I could have wished for.  So huge thank you to dear Dad, I will try to get a photo of the pressie at some point to post.  Here's a piccy of our dear Jeeves as an Adult.....
